Terms of service and Booking Agreement.

Photography Session Terms & Conditions

Effective for: Family Beach Sessions, Engagement Sessions, Senior Portrait Sessions, Rehearsal Dinner Packages, and Real Estate Photography Sessions.
Please note: These terms do not apply to weddings. Wedding clients will receive a separate, detailed contract.

1. Payment Policy

  • Payment is due in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise stated in writing by Sean Metzler Photography.

  • Your session is not considered confirmed until payment is received.

2. Weather Policy

  • Sessions are rain or shine. Rescheduling due to weather is at the sole discretion of Sean Metzler Photography.

  • While we do our best to accommodate for inclement weather, rescheduling availability is not guaranteed.

  • No refunds will be issued due to weather-related concerns.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • More than 30 days before the session: Full refund less a $39.99 administrative processing fee.

  • 8–29 days before the session: 50% refund OR client may request a reschedule/credit for a future session.

  • 7 days or fewer before the session: No refunds. Exceptions may be made at the sole discretion of Sean Metzler Photography.

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to sean@seanmetzler.com.

  • If rescheduling is requested within the 8–29 day window but a new date is not yet available, a credit may be issued to be used toward a future session.

4. Rescheduling Policy

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 5 days in advance, except in cases of severe weather.

  • We will make every effort to accommodate a new date, but availability is not guaranteed.

  • Reschedules requested fewer than 5 days in advance are treated as cancellations and may not be eligible for refund.

5. Late Arrival Policy

  • We understand delays happen; however, sessions are scheduled back-to-back.

  • Clients arriving 15 minutes late or more will be considered no-shows and will not be refunded.

  • We will do our best to shoot within the remaining time if you arrive late, but additional time cannot be guaranteed.

  • The session time you book is the time that is allocated for your shoot.

6. Digital File Rights & Usage

  • Your package includes a set number of high-resolution digital files as specified in the session description.

  • Clients are granted personal digital use rights for web, social media, and other non-commercial purposes.

  • Print rights are not included. All prints must be purchased directly through your online gallery.

  • Sean Metzler Photography retains copyright and usage rights for all images, including use for promotional, print, marketing, and web purposes.

7. Agreement to Terms

By booking a session with Sean Metzler Photography, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

8. Effective Date & Revisions

These Terms & Conditions are effective as of January 1, 2025 and are subject to change at the sole discretion of Sean Metzler Photography. Any updates will be reflected on this page and will apply to all future bookings made after the revision date.
